For the razor mesh, we mainly supply the following three types of packing.

1、For simple packing, inside is water proof paper and outside is woven bags and then compression; sometimes we can load the container one coil by one coil and sometimes we can make the coils to big bundles and for loading easily. It is main for BTO-10, BTO-12, BTO-22, BTO-30 and CBT-25. Galvanized razor coils usually use this packing.

2、For carton packing, razor mesh coils are loading into hard cartoon boxes, it is mainly application to CBT-65, CBT-60 (450 mm).

3、Razor wire packing, inside is water proof paper and outside is woven bags and then loading into hard cartoon boxes.

Packaging Steps:

Safety Precautions:

Before handling concertina wire, make sure to wear protective gloves and safety goggles to prevent cuts and injuries.

Prepare Spools or Reels:

If the concertina wire comes on cardboard spools or reels, inspect them for any damage. Replace damaged spools to ensure stability during transportation and handling.

Coiling the Wire:

Carefully unroll the concertina wire coils while ensuring the barbed edges do not come into contact with your body or the ground to avoid injuries.

Use a winding technique to coil the wire around the spool or reel. Keep the wire taut and neatly wound to prevent tangling and to maximize the amount of wire that can be wound onto each spool.

Padding and Protection:

Once the wire is wound onto the spool, consider adding a layer of padding between the wire and the spool's surface to prevent friction and potential damage during transportation.

Secure the Coil:

Use packing materials like bubble wrap, foam, or padding to provide extra cushioning around the wire coil. This helps protect the wire from external impacts that could lead to deformation or damage.

Boxing or Crating:

Select appropriate shipping boxes or crates based on the size and quantity of the coiled concertina wire. Make sure the boxes are sturdy and durable enough to withstand the weight and potential rough handling during shipping.

Place the Coil Inside:

Gently place the coiled and padded concertina wire into the box or crate. Make sure it fits snugly but isn't overly compressed.

Sealing and Labeling:

Seal the box securely using packing tape to prevent it from accidentally opening during transit.

Attach labels that indicate the contents as "Concertina Wire" or "Razor Wire." Include any relevant handling instructions or warnings.

Prepare the packaged concertina wire for shipping according to your preferred shipping method and carrier requirements.
